Meet The Team

Hi everyone , I’m Terri. I was born in Adelaide and have my own little family including my husband and 2 beautiful little girls. I have always worked with young children and one of my first jobs was as a swimming instructor. With a passion for working with children I gained a Certificate 3 in Children’s Services in 2011 and after realising I wanted to learn more I later gained my Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. I have worked in the childcare sector for 6 years and in that time I was also a Room Team Leader and learnt so much. Through my time working in childcare I can appreciate and value the importance of children being given opportunities to participate in sensory and messy play. I also believe children should be encouraged to explore at their own pace. After going on maternity leave in 2018 to have my daughter I undertook more study and in 2019 gained a qualification as a Paediatric Massage Consultant and Baby Yoga instructor. I love that I can provide a service that gives parents tools that help nurture and aid their baby’s development. Through my training I met Emma and was given the opportunity to join First Senses. Of course I said yes as it involves so many things I get excited about! I look forward to seeing you around at our sessions in the Southern Suburbs. (Currently on mat leave)

Hello everyone, my name is Jo. I am mum to two wonderful babes who are 7 and almost 6! I have worked in the childcare industry for 14 years and have a Diploma in children’s services. I was luck enough to be team leader in all rooms and age groups. I really loved creating an environment that engaged and excited the children and messy play was a favourite of mine! I have also worked in the emergency care sector. Working along children who are placed in emergency care housing. As well as the disability support service & school holiday programs. I really love being outside & getting messy in the garden, at the beach or with paint! Now that my not so little ones are getting older, the sensory/messy play has lessened and I am so excited to be able to keep the fun going for your little ones. I am so looking forward to meet you all & joining Emma & her team of lovely ladies. Looking forward to bringing a little “mess & fun” into your lives.
