Here at First Senses we love hosting birthday parties. We can make your child’s party unique and stress free with one of our messy play or slime parties. We have lots of packages available for all budgets. We will help you host the best birthday party that your guests will never forget.
From 1st birthday parties to 5th birthdays our messy play packages can be tailored to suit all ages and accommodate your needs.
Your party host will make sure your guests have a fun and have the messiest time exploring a variety of sensory activities. We aim to make your party as stress-free as possible for you, so you can enjoy the fun with your children and guests. You choose the venue and we will do the rest.
So what happens at a First Senses birthday party?
In order to make your party unique and just as you’d like it, we offer as standard water play , sand play and painting plus you can pick and choose 4 messy stations. Does your little one have a personal favourite/s just let us know and we’ll provide the rest! Why not personalise the party with your own choice of theme at no extra cost.
Our messy play party package includes:
- Your own host to meet and greet guests and oversee activities
- Music (optional)
What do I need to do?
All you need to do is find a suitable venue and book it for a minimum of 3 hours. If you can’t find a suitable venue we can help with recommendations. Invite your guests and we will go from there! We are very flexible with the location of your party this can be done at home in your garden (under shade), garages or even at your local park. Please do let us know if there is carpet at your venue. It’s worth checking with your venue also if there are any restrictions in place which would prohibit the use of certain messy play resources. Please ask these questions when booking and deciding on your venue and let us know too.
To put your mind at ease we will be in touch a couple of days before the party to discuss arrangements.
What will my event look like?
On the day we will arrive 1 hour prior to your agreed party start time to prepare the messy play area and to meet and greet your guests as they arrive. The messy play party will be hosted by our First Senses Leader, they will introduce the materials to your guests and be there to ensure everyone has a messy time. The activities are child led so remember to just enjoy a fun messy time! The event will last for one hour. Once everyone has enjoyed the event we will have one hour to clean up the mess and leave you to enjoy the rest of your party.
PLEASE NOTE: When we arrange the timings for your party we must ensure we adhere to these timings and your party starts promptly at the agreed time. There will be a charge of $50 per every 30 minutes the party starts late. We are very flexible and understand if things go wrong, this can be discussed on booking.
How do I check availability?
It’s not uncommon for parties to book out months in advance so we do recommend that you register your interest as soon as possible. To book your own unique, stress-free, messy play, fun, party, please get in touch with us. Alternatively, fill out contact us section at the bottom of the page or you can send us a message and we will be in touch to discuss your requirements.
Our packages start from $300 for up to 20 children with $12 per additional child there after. If you would like to hold a larger event please do not hesitate to contact us for a personalised quote. We do require a $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Payment is due 5 days prior to your event. Any cancellations made during the week of the party the full balance of the party is still required.
Give your child the ultimate birthday party, and wow your guests with up to 90 minutes of birthday slime making awesomeness. Guests get make and take home their slime! We’ve got the glitters, sequins, pigments and beans to create your perfect slime.
Our slime parties are suitable for children aged 5 years old and upwards.
Slime making party for 60 mins with a minimum children 10-20 in a party – $250 (additional child is $15 per child). Children will make 1 slime to take home. They will have choice of colours, glitters, foam beads etc.
Slime making party for 90 mins minimum of 10-20 children in a party – $300. This will include:
A choice of teaching the children 2 slimes, where they can decorate it and take their slime home. An additional child is $20.
